15 Wokingham schools receive share of £6,000 funding

Thanks to the generous donations of points from Greenredeem members, 15 Wokingham schools are the lucky recipients of a share of £6,000 funding!

The grants have been used for a variety of eco projects such as: forest based sessions, building an outdoor classroom, refurbishing a pond, setting up an allotment, new water butts, a beetle garden, updating playground equipment, improving recycling/compostable facilities and changing plastic sandwich packs to re-useable ones.

"We were so grateful to receive a cheque from Greenredeem. We will be using the money to help redevelop the garden and growing areas in our school, which will not only provide the children with a more attractive outdoor environment, but will also provide a wealth of learning opportunities."
