Introduction

Engaging communities behind a common cause is a powerful and effective way to galvanise people of all backgrounds to motivate behaviour change.

Not only does it provide a communications channel directly to residents, it plays a key role by encouraging participation to meet carbon reduction targets.

This case study provides examples of how we have applied these techniques to community engagement. It also evidences how over the last 10 years it has benefited more than 232 local good causes.
